My Life, in one page...

This is my life in one page. My life is my family, my religion, my music, and my work. I hope to expand that at some point. I've had a difficult but rewarding life. Health issues masked by incredible experiences. I am grateful for that.

Juan Hector Pereira

So, it's been a while, and now I can finally write on my blog...a good friend helped me know how to get back in here. I have graduated from BYU, I have been accepted to go to Grad school...that means I am moving to Michigan in a month. I've done a lot of travelling this year, both for my school auditions, and for me...it's been a crazy year. Very busy, and very exciting. I'm going to write a little about it now...

BYU 2006 Opera

The BYU 2006 Opera is on its way this October (21,25,27) Here are some pictures to get yourself excited about coming to see the Opera. It will be a great production. Dr. Vincent has worked very hard to direct the show. The cast has been putting in a lot of time and energy to make the production come to life. I wish my mom and dad could be here to see. You should make some time in your schedule, and come to a night at the Opera. BYU style!!!

The Director's Studio

I am directing one of the Spring Opera's at BYU this year. It's called 'The Old Maid and the Thief', by Gian-Carlo Menotti. It's a funny little show. I am excited. I was also asked to be the music director for the Scera Shell Outdoor Theatre. They are doing Peter Pan. They both open the same week. June 7th for the Opera, and the 9th for Peter Pan.

Mom and Dad

This is a great picture. I love it. My mom and dad are the most important thing in my life. My parents have always been supportive of what I've wanted to do in my life. They would always say..."do what you love, just be the best you can at what you do!" I love that about them. They also say..."Don't call us, we'll call you!" :) So, there ya go. Posted by Picasa

Jerusalem, and others. I'm grateful for all the opportunities I have received, and I hope to have many, MANY more! Posted by Picasa

What's new?

Well, I just found out that I could create my own page...
My life is pretty hectic right now. I am juggling school, work, choir, calling, and directing. Directing is something new for me. I never imagined that I would find myself on the production side of productions, but here I am, and I like it a lot. There's nothing like being on stage and performing, but there is a thrill to be had watching the work that you have created as a director. I love it. I don't know where it will take me, but I guess I'll find out sooner or later.
